custom Banjo. Circa 1900 Bell Bronze pot. Custom Neck by Mark Hickler of Hickler Banjos. Open back, Dobson heel, period style inlay. The banjo has not been played since being built. It will play nicely as is but you will want a setup done to maximize its potential. It is very heave. It has not been weighed but is similar in weight to my Deering Sierra resonator banjo. The neck is mahogany and has Gotoh tuners. It comes with a strap. There is no case. It's quite beautiful and looks like a museum piece. It was assembled with Balsam Banjo Works hardware. In the photos, the lacquer looks grainy but it is only dust. It is smooth and shiny. The headstock has my initials "AW" in the inlay. You could have that small piece redone if it bothers you. No shipping on this one
